Rick
Garcia was commissioned to paint a pony similar to the
painted cows art project of Chicago. His pony
features the surreal imagery of water, cactus, a landscape
with the vision of a face and flowing colors. This pony
titled, "Painted Pony in Garciavision" was
on a six month installation at the Albuquerque Airport
from June 7, 2001.
