KENTUCKY DERBY ARTWORK This year, Rick was chosen to create the official poster for the Kentucky Derby. This was a great honor for him, as he watches the Triple Crown races each year with anticipation. Incorporated ino the painting are Derby-related symbols, as well as images of local scenes.
New Series In Progress! Rick's latest series of still life paintings departs from his usual bright onslaught of color into the muted palette of a rainy evening. The first paintings from the as-yet-untitled series can be viewed here! When the series is completed, we will add it to the Gallery.
