BETWEEN WORLDS
BETWEEN WORLDS
Between Worlds is a playful and surreal vision of the African landscape, where the boundaries between earth, sky, water, and imagination disappear.
Five zebras inhabit this dreamlike world in unexpected ways. One appears high in the night sky, drinking from a pool of water surrounded by stars. Below, zebras graze peacefully against a brilliant sunset, while another seems to transform into the branches of an acacia tree, merging animal and landscape into a single form. A final zebra appears almost like an apparition, drifting between the real and the imagined.
With its vivid colors and unexpected transformations, Between Worlds invites the viewer into a world where nature is not confined by the rules of reality. Beneath its playful surrealism is a deeper message: these extraordinary animals exist in a delicate balance with the landscapes they inhabit, and both are worth protecting.
Between Worlds is part of Rick Garcia's ALMOST GONE Endangered Species Collection.
